The Dutch Government Advantage
The Kinderopvangtoeslag Pays For Most Of It. You Pay The Rest.
LOQQL is registered in the Dutch national childcare register (LRK), which means members can claim Kinderopvangtoeslag (the Dutch government's childcare subsidy) directly against the childcare portion of their LOQQL membership. The percentage scales with income and number of children. For two-child families earning under €120,000, the Belastingdienst typically covers €3,400 to €3,900 of the €4,500 monthly fee. Your real cost lands between a Rotterdam gym membership and a co-working desk, for the entire bundle.

Estimates based on the current Kinderopvangtoeslag table (Rijksoverheid, 2026). Exact subsidy depends on household income, hours worked, the number and age of children, and the annual regulated hourly cap. The Kinderopvangtoeslag is paid by the Belastingdienst to the parent, not to LOQQL. Every applicant receives a personalised calculation against the official rates in effect at the time of enrolment. Government rates and percentages are updated annually and will be re-checked closer to opening.
